About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to advocating for mental health awareness and reducing the stigma around seeking support for emotional and psychological challenges. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and have experience working in community mental health, inpatient psychiatric units, inpatient drug treatment, and outpatient settings with both adolescents and adults.
My work is influenced by training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My approach to therapy is grounded in evidence-based techniques and a client-centered philosophy. I believe in building a strong therapeutic alliance rooted in trust, empathy, and active listening. This creates a safe, non-judgmental space where growth and healing can occur.

Areas of Focus
Trauma, Grief & Emotional Healing
I support individuals working through trauma, addiction, codependency, grief, and the impact of difficult or hurtful family systems. Together, we work to identify patterns, build resilience, and make meaningful, lasting changes, like setting healthy boundaries and developing emotional awareness.
Adoption-Competent Therapy
Specializing in adoption-related issues, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to my work. I support all members of the adoption triad—birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees, by integrating trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and adoption-competent therapy. Whether your adoption experience is recent or decades old, your story matters. I can help make sense of why relationships are so hard for you.
Life Transitions & Relationships
I have helped individuals and families navigate significant life changes, such as divorce, loss, and adoption, by improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening emotional connections.
